I grew up surrounded by my father's photo's and my mother's paintings, and in 2021 I graduated from the art academy in Breda. Because of this, art always felt like something natural; you could call it my mother tongue. At the same time, I also noticed how complicated the financial side of this life can be. Something that was often not really discussed in my environment and was even seen as a very heavy subject. After art school, I realized that I was missing one very important thing: entrepreneurial skills. How do you actually build a sustainable practice as an artist?

Wherever I go, every artist has their own path. Some are comparable, and there is certainly a common thread when it comes to entrepreneurship, but every practice is different, and that makes it such a unique insight into someone's creative process every time!
